Product Design
Established in 2000, Sumajin is a design studio based in Singapore. Sumajin’s main aim is to add value through industrial design. Having worked on design-projects that are as diverse as their clients, Sumajin has covered many fields from toys, house- hold goods, furniture, consumer electronics and industrial products. These products have created opportunities for Sumajin to work with many clients from around the world. With the experience gained, it clearly reflects that creating good and useful designs are of great advantage.
In 2003, Sumajin started creating products under the brand name “Sumajin” and has gained momentum with more in-house products being introduced. Sumajin’s work has won several awards and have been featured in international magazines and books such as Blue Print, AXIS, Young Asian Designer and ID magazine. One of their key products is the “Smartwrap” which was awarded winner of Design Distinct- ion in the International Design magazine 2002.
