The nomination process is in 2 stages, as summarised in the following table:

2.
Stage A and Stage B submissions must be made to complete the nomination process.
3.
Stage A nominations submitted after 6pm (SGT) on 05 June 2009, Friday, will be automatically disqualified.
JUDGING PROCEDURE
1.
Expert jurors from both Singapore and overseas in each of the nominated fields will be appointed for both Award categories.
2.
The Jury Panels will evaluate and recommend recipients to The President of the Republic of Singapore for each Award category between July and September 2009. Results will be announced later in the year, during the Award Ceremony. Recipients will receive the Award from The President.
3.
The President’s Design Award is organised annually. As a merit-based Award, the number of Awards given any year may vary and is not limited by the Award category.
