(Photo by Lars E. Andreasen) The Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) (link) won the coveted Knowledge Relay Award (Videnstafet), for Denmark’s most innovative and ambitious knowledge enterprises, on 26 April 2012.
Awarded by Dansk Erhverv (Danish Chamber of Commerce) (link), the prestigious award highlights companies that aspire to become the knowledge service industry’s foremost front runners, and recognises the importance and need for the right combination of innovation and ambition.
This year, the categories were ‘Consulting & Creativity’ and ‘Digital & Technology’, of which CIID received the award for ‘Consulting & Creativity’ against stiff competition.
Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, CIID is an international centre of excellence for interaction design and innovation. CIID provides education, research and consultancy services in a cross-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
CIID has worked with the DesignSingapore Council to conduct a series of design thinking workshops for companies in the retail & services sectors at its Design Thinking and Innovation Academy (DTIA).
