Design for Competitiveness
The Design for Competitiveness strategy involves encouraging and assisting businesses to leverage on design for competitive advantage.
Design for Enterprises
The DesignSingapore Council, together with International Enterprise (IE), Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING), established the Design for Enterprises (DFE) programme to help businesses understand the value of design and adopt design as a strategic differentiator for business competitiveness and growth.
The DFE programme is targeted at assisting Singapore-based enterprises with different levels of design capabilities to integrate design into their business strategies. The DFE Centre was established in 2009 as a one-stop resource centre to serve the design needs of enterprises through various education and outreach seminars, workshops, clinic sessions, business networking events, grants (Design for Business Innovation Grant and Design Engage) and tax incentives (Productivity and Innovation Credit for Design).
