Kingsmen

In 1976, two men started Kingsmen with a vision to be the best providers of one-stop-shop, 3-dimensional communications design and production solutions. Its business requires core capabilities in design. Kingsmen’s secret to success lies in its holistic approach to design, driven by its corporate culture.  As one of its founders aptly describes design, “We do it everyday. Every time we take a new route to the office because of a traffic jam, and every time we think of a more efficient way to go about our daily routines, it is design.”

This frame of mind permeates the way Kingsmen approaches every project. According to the company, design involves creative thinking, but more importantly, it involves conceptualisation. Conceptualisation is essentially the idea behind, and the reason for, a particular “look”. It provides the subtlety, the “behind the scenes” work of an abstract image or tangible structure.

According to Kingsmen, design is evolution more than revolution. The essence of a design-led culture involves making design or creative thinking part of the management function. It is an inside out approach that encourages an adventurous attitude on the inside, and produces quality work and exceptional service on the outside to customers.

This culture is driven by the vision of its founders, “to be the best”. This design-led, quality and service-driven culture has made Kingsmen a leading provider of communication solutions in Singapore.
