#ThrowbackThursday: Orchid Series Currency Notes

These were the first Singapore currency notes to be in circulation. Each denomination varied in design but shared dominant features, such as an orchid and the coat-of-arms on the front. On the back is a distinctive scene of Singapore, featuring the new Republic’s first fruits of labour.
