Celebrating 80 years of life and 52 years of practice of Mr Raymond Woo - one of the pioneer Singapore architects responsible for numerous large scale, award winning commercial and residential developments in Singapore, South East Asia and the Middle East. His achievements in shaping the Singapore skyline include Science Center, Changi Engineering Hangar, 78 Shenton Way, Ngee Ann City, Equity Plaza, Prudential Tower and in recent years, 268 Orchard Road, just to name a few.
Raymond Woo has taken an active role in the development of Singapore not only through his own works but also as a board member and advisor to various government bodies such as URA, LTA, NHB, NUS of Singapore. He has served on design review and jury panels for notable developments such as The Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, National Art Gallery, Fullerton Square, Marina Barrage, The Pinnacle@Duxton and Tanjong Pagar Centre.
For his contribution to Singapore's Architectural Landscape he has been awarded a Public Service Medal in 2000.
He is the recipient of Designer of The Year 2016 - President*s Design Award.
