Conflict of Interest for Jurors
Conflict of Interest for Jurors

To prevent Conflicts of Interest (COI), all PDA Jurors are to refrain from submitting their own work. Works that they have been involved in (as collaborators, members of Boards in submitting organisations, former leads/ employees, etc) may be submitted, but Jurors should immediately declare COI to the PDA Secretariat and Jury Chair/ Vice-Chair. They will refrain from judging these submissions. Jurors will also declare COI and refrain from judging submissions from that come from family, employees or close friends.

Conflict of Interest for Knowledge Partner

The PDA Knowledge Partner (KP) will refrain from validating projects submitted by their own organisation. Should the KP become aware that their organisation intends to make submission(s) for PDA, they should immediately declare COI and refrain from validating the submission(s). The PDA Secretariat will then appoint a supporting KP from a different organisation to validate the affected submission(s).
