Guide to Nominations and Submissions

GUIDE TO NOMINATING AND SUBMITTING

As part of PDA's re-launch and amplified focus on design impact, we have re-designed our nominations and submissions processes and forms. For a complete guide on the new PDA approach, and what an "impactful" design means to us, please download and read the GUIDE TO NOMINATING AND SUBMITTING FOR PDA 2017/18.

EXEMPLAR CASE STUDIES

The Design of the Year submission process includes a new Project Statement Form. As this is a new part of the submission process, we have provided some exemplar case studies for reference. We have selected projects that cover a range of design disciplines, and impact areas. They have demonstrated various types of outcomes and used different types of supporting evidence.

Do note that whether a project is ultimately awarded would also depend on other factors which will be holistically evaluated by the jurors. Please refer to the PDA judging criteria for Design of the Year.
