VIDEO: Minister Chan Chun Sing asks designers: “What is your higher purpose?”

At the Design Conversations 2019, Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing asked Singapore designers what their higher purpose was – beyond creating value and better experiences in the work they did. He challenged them to design solutions for wicked problems that Singapore, and the rest of the world, now face. These included issues such as climate change, ageing, technological disruption, trade bifurcation, urban isolation and social mobility.
